Parent: Shelby Grace LaBar

Shelby grew up in a host family household through Pius High School and spent 13 years as a gymnast hosting two female athletes for training. She volunteers with Habitat for Humanity, local food banks, and a homeless shelter. She's very close with her family, especially her mother. She's completing her sign language interpreter license, studied psychology and social work, and paused an MBA to pursue ASL. She worked at Eastern Children's Home supervising the girls' cottage (ages 11–17), overseeing school readiness, meals, chores, and daily life skills.

Bethlehem Catholic High School

Known locally as "Becahi," Bethlehem Catholic High School is a Roman Catholic, coeducational high school in the Diocese of Allentown, founded in 1925 and among the oldest schools in the diocese. The school serves students in grades 9 through 12 with a curriculum that spans general studies, college-preparatory coursework, honors and AP classes, and vocational-technical options.

Students compete as the Golden Hawks in the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference, and the school is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
